We were especially proud to partner with the City of Aspen on the development of a brand and public-facing campaign for Commit to Tomorrow, the City’s ongoing sustainability initiative.
Commit to Tomorrow was created to educate, engage, and empower the Aspen community around local climate action and create awareness to the work that the city has in place. More than a single campaign, it’s a living framework that encourages residents, businesses, and visitors alike to think about how today’s choices shape Aspen’s future, both environmentally and culturally.
Our work focused on creating a clear, flexible brand system that could support a wide range of touchpoints, from public signage and event materials to educational programming and community outreach. The campaign comes to life across the city through initiatives like Earth Week Swaps, youth ambassador programs, and spotlights on local businesses that are leading the way in sustainable practices.
The goal of the public signage was to use clever headlines that would make people pause and take a closer look. Working closely with Rachel Brenneman of Manifest Communications and writer David K. Gibson, the campaign drew in both visitors and locals with humor-driven headlines and playful explanations of the places right in front of them.
At its core, Commit to Tomorrow balances individual action with collective responsibility. It promotes everyday green habits—like waste reduction and energy awareness—while also highlighting larger community-driven efforts, including renewable energy initiatives and long-term environmental planning. The brand needed to feel optimistic, accessible, and rooted in Aspen’s values, reflecting both urgency and hope.
We were honored to work with the City of Aspen to help shape a campaign that not only informs but invites participation. Commit to Tomorrow is a reminder that sustainability isn’t abstract—it’s local, collaborative, and built step by step.
